Hi All,

I'm considering Eco-Complete Substrate for a new planted tank. I saw on here some mention of problems with fertilizers with shrimp but no explanation. Is this substrate safe to use with shrimp?

Thanks.

I have a pressurized-co2 tank with red eco-complete that I supplement with Flourish comprehensive, nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus, and excel. I have glass (ghost) shrimp in there that are thriving, dwarf cajun crays, and malawa shrimp that don't seem to mind any of that one bit (though I'm pretty sure they're not too crazy about my big female platies).

I have it in all of my tanks. The Nerite snails have no problems and the Amanos and the Cherry Shrimp in the 29 gallon are just fine.

Same, I use it in shrimp tanks with no problems.
