Is this brand of polyester fiber safe?

So today my dad came home with a bag of Poly-fil for my aquariums. The problem is I do not know if the brand he bought is safe.

Poly-fil is a brand of polyester fiber made by Fairfield. I don't think it is the Walmart brand.

It does not say whether or not it is treated with anything.
