Hi all,
I joined this site because it seemed like a good idea at the time, and because fish in my tank (freshwater tropical) are scratching against the plants and rocks. It's been going on for some time, so I'm guessing that it's nothing fatal, but they must be in discomfort. I've been recommended to use a medication containing Malachite green, so I bought it, used it as instructed, and guess what? Can anyone tell me what to do? It has to be some kind of a parasite in the gills, looking at the way they're behaving. Oh, I tried aquarium salt, too. No good.
C'mon experts, help me out?
