is there any good catfish,cory or some kind of algae eater for 5.5 or 10 gallon.

I would think the best would be pygmy/dainty cories and otos. In a 10g, you have a few more options, for example you could have almost any specie of cory you wanted.
The ottos are about the only of the algae eater family that are good for 5.5 to 10 gallon tanks but need to be kept in groups of 3 or more. Khulie loaches and dwarf cory catfish are good choices too and also need to be kept in groups of 3 or more. The catfish and khulies will scavnege the bottom but aren't really algae eaters. They also need suplimental food dropped in just for them.
