I have a 29g and i was looking into angelfish and gouramis.
I already have 4 guppies [1m:3f]

I wanted to stock my tank like this and i was wondering if it would be ok for my angelfish::

4 Guppies.
1 male dwarf gourami.
1 baby angelfish. [nickel size]
6-12 neon or cardinal tetras.
and maybe a bottom feeder or 2 of some kind.

I know that my guppies will be breeding a lot. >>;;
hopefully having the gourami and the angelfish will help keep the population under control without completely demolishing ALL of the fry.

Also, with the angelfish, when it grows up to be an adult, will it eat my adult guppies?
I heard that introducing the angelfish while it is small to a community that already has adult guppies and neon or cardinal tetras will somehow cut the chances of the angelfish growing up and eating them.
You'd have some sort of a better chance? How much of this is true?

I would eliminate the gourami but the rest looks OK but just make sure to add the angel last and try to get a small one. I have 24 cardinals in with now just 8 angels and everybody is still there and OK but they have only been together for a couple months oh and the angels are at least 1/2 dollar size.

So the angelfish might be ok with the cardinals then huh?
Why should i eliminate the male dwarf gourami?

Angels grow fast and can get rather large for a 29 so I dont think I would trust then gourami and angel together but thats JMO oh and I forgot to mention mine are in a 120

ohh.
how so? fin nipping or growing out of the tank? or something else?
i wish i had room for a 120 ;u;

wow. never thought.
i've been looking around and people are saying angels are ok with dwarf gourami.
I'll take your opinion into account. thanks.
of coarse i'm still researching everything. :)

Yeah. In my experience, both angels and gouramis vary greatly in their behavior. You could get away with it, or they could be really vicious.

4 Guppies. Not mix
1 male dwarf gourami. Not ideal(but some keep them)
1 baby angelfish. [nickel size] The baby will grow 6 plus inches
6-12 neon or cardinal tetras. Will be a quick snack for the Angel
and maybe a bottom feeder or 2 of some kind. 1 BN will be ok
