Quietest Protein Skimmer

Alright, upgrading my reef to a 200g Oceanic with a 55g sump. The sump will be under the tank and in my dining room. So I need everything to be quiet. Any recomendations on the quietest in sump protein skimmer?

I think you will have more of an issue with the overflow and pumps making noise than the protein skimmer. That being said I believe that the beckett style skimmers make the most noise. I would concentrate on getting a good skimmer that meets your specific needs like performance, size, ease of use, cleaning, price etc. Two of the better performing non beckett type skimmers are Euro-reef & Aqua C. I would start there and expand your search into other types brands.
