I am in the process of building a 360 gallon plywood tank. I bought 1- 1/1/2" bulk head for my return and 2- 2" bulkheads for my overflows. The place i got the bulkheads from states they are ABS. here is the link to them http://www.aquaticeco.com/subcategories/2985/Bulkhead-Fittings-Economy/bulkhead/0
On my return I have 1 1/2" PVC street elbow I plain on attaching to the bulkhead
for the over flows im planing on using 2 in PVC.
I have a can of Oatey All purpose cement that says it is for pvc, abs, cpvc can i use this to bond the pvc to the bulkheads?

not worried about toxicity. i just want to make sure the glue will hold so it wont leak on the over flow. And the glue will hold on the return so the pressure wont blow the fitting out etc. The over flow bulkheads are slip /slip fitting. the return is threaded on the bottom which i have a 1 1/4" barb fitting for tubeing to hook to the return pump and a slip fitting on the inside

i think they make a transition cement to bond abs-pvc.
not sure but the can should recommend the correct primer
