Hi folks.
I have 2x96 watt bright kits over my 90 gallon planted.
I want to convert to an open top, and if at all possible continue to use my current lighting in a suspended configuration. (Metal Halides are way to expensive to buy, without even figuring in the cost to run.)
Does anybody have any input on the effects of increased distance from the surface on these lighting kits?
Has anyone ever built a "fixture" to suspend these kits?
Anyone with any pertinent comments in general?
