If not does anyone have any brands that can be found easily? This is for the bottom of my little brother's birthday present. We are getting him a 40 gallon which i will make into a river tank and thought the light sand would be a nice touch

Does anyone know how much the shipping is on this?

Just because I could see it costing more than the sand itself >.<

Look at the grains to see if the look or feel sharp, not all 20 grade PFS is the same, even different shipments. Rinse it to get rid of any dust.

Yes, shipping would cost quite a bit

I found a place in my hometown that carries Mystic White Brand pool filter sand. A quick check of the product seems like it is used in the aquarium trade

I just bought the same stuff at a local pool place for 10.97 a bag.

How do you like it?

I just finished rinsing it out and placing it in my 315G build. I will be filling the tinkle for the first time on Saturday. The sand has the consistency of beach sand. I like it. Rinsing it was no fun....300lbs of sand to rinse while snowing!

There is a thread in the DIY section covering much of the build, I will post pics there.
