Some new pics taken with a Minolta Dimage A1 and an external flash. I can't take full credit for the pics this time, I just held the external flash, my brother was the man behind the camera.

Beautiful, as always.

That oscar is kind of different looking, but cool none-the-less.

Great pictures.

But what kind of cichlid is the one right beneath the Jag in the first pic?
Don't tell me that's an African

Thanks everybody :)

Jimbo: I think it's some kind of mbuna, the jags fought like crazy a couple of days ago and the mbuna was said to be the best targetfish to get that wouldn't get eaten.

vance: The equipment was a Minolta DiMAGE A1 and an external flash, the flash was held about 0.5-1 meter above and 0.5-1 meter to the left of the cameralens.

Wow! Those are great! What size tank do you have those beasts in? Are the larger fish leaving the 3" oscar alone?

Thanks. :)
The jaguarcichlids are in a 59x20x20" tank and the oscar in a 43x18x18" tank.

Can you post a full shot of that large aquarium? I really want to see how you have it decorated. :D Please, please, please. :D

No problem, here is a shot taken without flash, it's not quite the whole tank but about 95% of it.

I love that backing. Stupid question.....but is it just a premade photo of rocks, or did you build something fancy behind the tank? If it is premade, where did you get it?

I like the undulating sand. It looks dark underneath, is that just a trickof the light or is there another substance under there?

Gulp: It's just a premade photo of a cliff, it's quite popular here in Sweden and is available in just about every LFS. I'm not sure but I would guess that it is the same as the one on the right side on the page below.

TKOS: It's just the lighting that makes it look like that. But I'm planning on mixing the current layer of sand with a darker type of sand just to get a more lifelike look to it, I think it's a bit to bright as it is right now.
