What types of inverts can I keep with a lionfish that won't become dinner? (haven't bought the lion yet, just want to get an idea) I know shrimp would be an easy meal, but what else can I keep that would look good in the tank and add some movement? Thanks in advance.

Crabs will mostly be in the same boat as shrimps, so the only real safe things you can have are Hermit Crabs and snails and such. Also starfish will be fine. Just no small mobile inverts like crabs and shrimp. Anyway, hope this helps and good luck.

Thanks MonoSebaelover. I am torn as to what to stock my tank with because I love lionfish, but at the same time I would love to have a tank full of smaller, active fish like dwarf angels, clowns, and butterflys.
Oh well, I guess I'll just choose to set up one type of tank, then whenever I have the $$$, I'll set up the other type! Now, which type to set up first... active and colorful, or elgant and deadly!!!
