i have a small jack dempsey cichlid in my 85 gallon aquarium could i add one more small jack dempsey to my aquarium what about an oscar :hi:

take your pick between the second JD or the oscar, but I would be leery of having 3 in there.

I agree, just go for another JD or an Oscar, a JD and an Oscar would make an interesting pair.

I have a pair of JDs with my Oscar.(All rescues) They get along great.

my jack dempsey beat up my firemouth and they both were small and he died

I had no issues with a JD and an Oscar in a 55 gallon but the oscar outgrew it and i had to give him away. The JD became very aggressive after that.

will 2 jack dempsey fight among each other i have a small 1.5" jack dempsey that i have gotton from petco but it had beaten up my firemouth cichlid so bad that he died
