Sorry for your loss. Losing cories seems to bring extra sadness, they are so cute and endearing to us. We need some information on the tank, it's set up, your tank maintenance routine, etc. before we can help you figure out why they died. How long has the tank been set up? Are they new purchases?

Maybe you poked them too hard?
Seriously, you need to give more details...
number of dead cories
how long you've had them
temp
tank size
tank mates
water parameters
how often you feed
how often you perform pwc
etc.
You should also post this in the appropriate freshwater forum on the site.
Good luck.
If I said my dog just died (it didn't) would you be able to tell me why?
You need to provide some useful info if want an accurate response.

Well 2 cories died out of 2 the tanks been running for 3 days they survived 4 days i have a Water World Neptune filter and a heater they both run fine. My tank is 5g I have had Mollies 1 Balloon mollie and 1 cremesicle mollie both healthy. The Temp is kept at no less then 72 degrees to 80 degrees and i feed daily but they eat the algae and they were acting normal so why did they die?

72 to 80 degrees is a big swing and can cuase stress. It also sounds like alot of fish for a 5G tank.
did you test the water? What are your PH, Ammonia, Nitrate and Nitrite readings? you said the tank has been running for 3 days??? is it cycled? you aren't giving us any info on the conditions of your tank. plant? no plants? how much light? do you use toilet water for Water changes? what? we need more info!

When you say you use regular tap water for changes, do you use dechlorinator? How did you cycle the tank?
This tank has been running for 3 days, right? How did you cycle it? It usually takes about a month to cycle a tank.
How often do you do water changes? How much water do you change? And do you use dechlorinator?
Since the tank is very new, I believe that most people here are suspecting that the cories died of ammonia and/or nitrite poisoning. That's why we need to know how you cycled the tank.
If possible, test your own water, instead of having the shop do it. An ammonia spike can happen in a matter of hours. If that's what is hurting your fish, then you need to have test kits at home so that you can test the water yourself every day. Otherwise, the ammonia levels could rise and you would never know it.
Also, please note that ammonia and nitrite levels rise after fish have been added to the tank. Thus, if you had the shop test the water when you went to buy the fish, then of course your ammonia and nitrite would have been 0. Have you had the water tested since the fish were purchased?

Its hard to say what is killing them. Maybe somethings wrong, still don't have a lot of info sorry.
best bet is to pick up a API freshwater liquid test kit from your LFS, don't bother with the test strips they are inaccurate. make sure the kit has tests for Ammonia, nitrate, nitrite and PH. then post the results here, we can get a much better idea of what is going on that way.
Myself and many others are guilty of buying a fish tank and not really knowing the extent of work and the things that should be done. Do some more research ask some more questions and you will be much better off. this is a great site and with out it I would have had a tank of dead fish and a very sad 3 year old little girl on my hands.
