My wife stopped at our LFS today and bought some snails, they are ramshorn and I am not happy. That is neither here nor there. My question is, they have on their shells what looks to white pit marks, should I be concerned? Also, what should I be feeding them and how often? I have algae waffers but the guppies love them too and I dont think the snails would even try if its srrounded by gups.

just make sure to have a good amount of calcium food. i feed foods from kensfish with extra calcium added. try feeding at night the snails will get it.
They are like a reddish and all are around 1/4 inch. My PH is 7.6 and I dont know my hardness because I havent gotten around to buy a new one. I know my water is hard but to what degree I am unsure.
