29gal Biocube stuff!!

Hey Guys!!!
I will post some pics in a little bit of the cube! Just had some quick questions about a few things.
So I was going to order some stuff from mediabasket was thinking about this :

Fish Saver
Media Basket / with purigen - chemipure elite - filter floss
Also the pump they have there for the 29gal cube

I really dont want to run a refugium though in time I may,
what do you guys think of the products ?

And am I able to just run the media basket and leave the other side open ? Or should I buy the refugium setup and maybe toss some live rock in there or something maybe? Or just leave it in time for a skimmer like the tunze?

Just thought I would ask you guys have always been awesome with me!!

Ill post pics when we get home of the updated tank // setup !!

I started a small cleanup crew in there pretty neat hehe
 
If you have a newer BioCube what you could do is get a section of 1" outer diameter tubing and put that over the "fish saver" that is already there. The back section on my BioCube is already raised up but i am unsure if the fish can get out.

For the rear second chamber i will give you my plan, Tunze9002 with an upgraded InTank cup so the rear hood will close. Media basket with chemi-pure elite, some filter floss and maybe some cheato in the bottom chamber. Adding LR in the back is pretty much useless because you wont really be able to pack that much in there

^Agree. Just to save you a little money you can get a huge bag of filter floss at WM. Look for this in the fabric department.

Its pillow stuffing and perfectly safe for your tank. I think its $4 and will probably last you a year.

Also you don't need to get both Purigen and CP Elite. I recommend just getting the CP Elite. The Tunze 9002 is a great skimmer and the InTank/mediabaskets cup is a big help because the stock Tunze cup is very small and fills up quickly.

If i did buy a basket put filter floss/ filter pad in first chamber
then purigen in second chamber // then chemi-pure would that be bad though ?

I need to make the order over 140 dollars then I get free shipping haha

Going to take some pics brb

Also I found another hitchhiker thing but there like in one spot brb with pics of tnak to!!
