Hi,
I bought two Blue Gouramis a week ago, I was told one boy and one girl. The boy keep swimming frantically up and down the glass wall of the tank, only stoping to interact with the girl. His spots are fading away, which I guess is from stress. They are in a 20 gallon planted tank with a real rock cave and a penn plax 1000 canister filter( I use to have 2 very large comet goldfish), with a mystery snail only. He is eating and the water is fine, at 78 degrees. I thought maybe he's seeing his own reflection thinking it's another fish, I realize the fish is having anxiety but what can I do for him? Does he need tank mates? The girl seems fine. This is the first gourami.
