Hello, I am a little new to the cichlid world I have a juvy texas cichlid, and I would like to know if it is common or a blue/green, or shortbody??? thanks again

i think it is a common, looks just like a texas i used to have. brilliant blue colors when they get bigger, mine was also very aggressive towards my other fish.
 
Thanks guys I have seen pics of other juvenile and mine actually looks alot better I was told it was a carpintis which I like aswell but I really want just a plain texas. Again thanks guys really apreciate it and If you guys ever get a red tailed catfish and have any questions that is after you buy a 10,000 gallon tank email me heheheh
 
Looks like a normal Herichthys carpintis.
