I think I've made a bonehead error with my protein skimmer

I have a 125 gal salt water tank. A pro came in and set it up for me, threw away all the boxes and documentation then disappeared.
I got a bigger sump (what I had was too small), move the whole setup, reconnected everything and it's all working EXCEPT the Bermuda venturi protein skimmer. The water column goes up just fine, but the little tube that is supposed to be sucking air in for the bubbles is blowing water out instead, so no bubbles. What did I do (or not do)?:feedback:

I hadn't disconnected the tube at all, so I'm afraid I changed some kind of setting, but don't know what!! I guess they don't make my exact model anymore, so I can't find any instructions or troubleshooting tips for it. Hoping somebody had some experience with it. But thanks for the tip anyway, I'll double check.

Yeah, pics would help. Try to get pics of the whole skimmer and details of the components. There are a number of potential problems, but off the bat, you aren't getting the negative pressure necessary to draw air.

Could a water bubble in the air line cause that? I would put my mouth on the tube and blow into it to make sure it is clear of obstructions and see if that changes anything.

It will bubble if I run a air pump line into the air tube, but when I pull the air pump line out, water starts to come out again.

Thanks everybody for your input. I bit the bullet, took the whoel rig to my local LFS, he didn't know but he took it to a supplier. The little ballbearings, or whatever they are, in the venturi went bad or something. I replaced the venturi ($60 for a piece of plastic!!!!!) and now everything is working fine. Thanks again for your help anyway.
