Hey all, I have heard of thinning hair, but not of thinning plants. I have a pretty heavily planted 120 and have had pretty good success. Lately though, I have noticed that my stargrass is thinning. I let it grow into a big bush around some driftwood with baby tears growing in front of it. It has been growing with relish, but lately its stopped (due to me stopping co2 for a few days because i needed a refill and stopped ferts during this dime) but I continued about a week ago. However, it hasn't started growing back and lately its been thinning. The lower leaves are gone and all there is are brown stems. Also, chunks are pulling out and floating to the top, leaving huge gaps in the one pretty bush. Every day its getting worse. I have some gouramis in my tank that are always picking at my plants but I dont think its them just because my cabomba is doing great, right next to the stargrass. Anyone heard of this before? Thanks.

Here you can see how healthy it is, but now its a lot taller, and with gaps.
