Will they actually breed in the home aquarium? I really wish they did. They are my favorite Invertebrate. If not, what other feather dusters can be bred in the home aquarium except for the small white ones. Love the little white ones too by the way.

I haven't really heard of it. Heck, most of the time they don't live long enough to even attempt it. Most of them starve before too long. I suggest feeding small planktonic foods (very small zooplankton and phytoplankton) to keep them going. The smaller ones, on the other hand, tend to do much better and don't need quite the amount of food the larger ones do.

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind.

Do you know about the tiny ones that are white? Do you know what they are called?

Not really. They can be pretty tough to identify and many of them may not be well known, either. I know I can't really accurately identify them, especially if they are in their tube. They'd have to be forcibly removed to even attempt IDs.

So, there like a bunch of little mutts I guess? I'm just guessing here.

Not mutts, necessarily, but a lot of species and difficult to ID without killing them.

Thanks man. I appreciate your help. I'll just list them as a common feather duster or common peacock worm.
