last night was the beginning of my kidless weekend (ahh, so nice! lol) and thought i'd go dreaming at petsmart for a while........ well, got to thinking that the hamster that my kidlett wants isn't going to happen any time soon so i decided to surprise her with something else......

although little mr no name is technically my daughter's finkid, i'm once again a betta fish mommy! she's going to be so happy when she gets home tomorrow. wonder what his name will be? hopefully not 'stripey' or 'sparkles', :grinno: (how do kids come up with these silly names anyway? lol!)

hmmm... so if this is your kidlet's fish; that would technically make this a grand-finkid. Which would actually make you bettafishgrandmommy! BFGM! :laugh:

HA! Just wait until your kiddo gets a bit older!!! Congrats on your new "Glowy" He's pretty!!!
 
i hope that my kidlett's sensibility in naming pets will get better as she gets older! lol.

she called him 'Glowy' because of the way the light glints off his body. pictures really don't do him justice, but he's red, purple, green, and blue, depending on which way the light hits.
