Hi All
I've got a 60 fish only with about 70 lbs of liverock, 60 lbs livesand...i am curious whether i am getting enough water movement or if i should add another powerhead.. here is what i am running as of now

an emperor 400- 400 gph (left side of tank)
a cpr bakpak2 (? gph)
a powersweep rated at 270 gph (right side, under bakpak outlet)

lighting is t5's worth 120 watts- and i dose with a calcium reef supplement

my goal is to speed up coralline growth- which is doing well, but until its all purple of course not fast enough =) tank is about 2 years old-

my tank is stocked with
tomato clown
yellow tang
koran angel (young)
bicolor angel
lawnmower blenny
10" snowflake

any ideas on how to improve coralline growth, or my overrall setup?

thanks

What is your calcium level? What kind of dosing do you use? Calcium levels alone aren't enough. I think strontium levels are important as well.

You can try manually spreading the coralline--scrub a bit of it off a rock, so the flakes float around.
