Just curious how you do it? Do you have the patience like me and untangled the roots like a knot in a shoe? Was like working a puzzle to untangle all them roots. :o)

scissors. they'll recover as long as you don't clip them too short.

I just grab a crown or a few on the edge of the clump & gently pull. Repeat as needed or your patience holds out.
