have got a new 3 foot tank and need to buy equipment and am after some ideas. particularly for filter and lighting. i would like to have some coral but not until i have done some homework, but the fish will be small species that don't grow much bigger then 3 inches and will have live rock. all thoughts and experience welcome. I currently have 15Gal? 60ltr seahorse tank. if you could use small words and baby talk that would great (meaning i'm not up with aqaurium spanglish yet).

look into a nova extreme pro or a tek elite for the t5 HO lighting.
That should keep you open to alot of corals.
Filtration is done by live rock and a skimmer and or canister filter, hang on the back (HOB) or a DIY algae turf scrubber.
get at least as many pounds of LR as you have gallons of water.

If you have a succesfull seahorse tank a reef tank should be a walk in the park.
