I have three of them in my 10-gallon with my dwarf puffers, and they are doing an excellent job of cleaning up the hair algae! These have to be the most useful little fish I've ever seen. They've cleaned off the leaves of all my plants, etc. I've heard about people having problems keeping them alive.... I hope they do well in my tank.

Lol... they even have their own site: http://www.otocinclus.com/

You are lucky... :D My otos eat almost nothing except for brown algae. They don't touch anything green in my tank and I don't even feed any extra vegetables in this tank.

I find bristlenose pl*cos work better for me, but I guess your mileage could vary...
