50 Gal. Pandas.

Hi, well after going to a fish auction I bougth more fish and needed to set up another tank. http://www.gwasoc.org/smf/Smileys/default/fish02.gif I have this 55 that was empy, and got it running, as sustracte I'm using silica sand from menards, only used 130 lbs, this sand is the cheaper way, it's only $4 per 50 lbs bag (thanks for the tip sadlycursed). plants from my other tanks and a coralife fixture (t-5 28w x2) here's some pics of how it's coming:

Looking very nice!

I haven't tried silica sand before. But I'm guessing it won't stay that color for very long. Also I would be sure to keep plenty of fert tabs on hand for the swords and vals.

lovely tank, great sand,, looking for substrate myself and do not know which way to go.. Them pandas are amazing against the sand

Awesome tank! The pandas look great against the sand! I have black tahitian moon sand in my tank... I like it, but the white is so bright! Please feel free to post more pics of the little darling cories!
