guppy is wasting away :(

One of the two starter fish, left over from when I got the tank 6 or 7 months ago is not looking too good. He's been getting thinner and thinner and very slow. He's still eating, but he can't get to the surface as fast, so he's not eating as much. No signs of ich, and all the other fish are just fine, it's only him. he's been like this for a while, what's wrong with him?

i heard that guppys only live to be 2-3 years maybe its his "time":confused:

i was going to say the same thing, about the age. has you feed live foods lately? it might be something internal if you did.

I only bought him about 6 or 7 months ago. the other one I bought at the same time is nice and plump and quick, but not this little guy. I did just introduce blood worms into the diet of my fish, but he was thinner before I did. I'm watching him now. he's swimming around, he's trying to be active, but he's slower than he should be.
