I just bought a micro sword (lilaeopsis brasiliensis) from work tonight. I've never grown micro sword before. I've read that it needs moderate light, I plan on putting it in my 10 gallon. Will it do ok with a regular tank light?
I wanted to try something new in my tank. If it does well in my 10 gallon then I may get some for my 29 gallon tank. How do you plant it? Just bury the roots in the gravel? Right now I have it in a container of water until toomorrow. I'm planning on gravel-vacing my tanks tomorrow so I didn't want to put it in the tank tonight and then have to move it when I clean tomorrow. What have your experience with micro sword been? Are they easy to grow or are they difficult?

I have some too and what I did is i broke it up into little groups and planted those around about 1 inch from eachother. Im not sure about the lighting but im running about 3.6 watts per gal. using co2 also

Thanks Hadouken441. I don't co2 so I hope mine does as well. I'm not sure what wattage my light is. I have kept some live plants but they have all been low light and easy to care for plants.
