Can anyone who has used them give me some input on good quality web hosting services? My wife is starting a new business and needs a good, no nonsense, no popup, easy to set up website.

I've used Earthlink to host my horse farm website for years and have been very pleased with the service :)

247, I should have noted that GoDaddy was one that I was excluding based on a load of bad reviews. I've read some reviews about other good ones also. I'm just looking to see if anyone has had good experiences with others.

Thanks Jill, I'll look into it.

I haven't used them myself, but http://www.lithiumhosting.com or http://apisnetworks.com have gotten good reviews that I've seen in the past.

GoDaddy is generally seen as pretty terrible.

Godaddy is notoriously bad.

It depends on what you're planning to do. Whether you're going to code the website yourself or using a wizard/builder to put it together, whether you're just using it to promote a business or using it as a storefront, etc.

Vampe, it will be a site to promote a business, with general info, pricing, etc. No store or shopping cart. Possibly building the site with wizards as you stated. Neither myself or my wife have any experience with this, so I'm trying to do alot of research and get input first.

My wife uses godaddy for our farm website. It can be kind of a pain, but if you're not into coding yourself or building pages with dreamweaver or something similar, its worked out pretty well for us.

I've got a few sites hosted on GoDaddy, never had a single problem with their service in all the years i've been using them.

If you want your site designing, then give me a shout.
