My brother recently got OUT of fishkeeping. He did saltwater only.
Yesterday I was at his house and he opened the freezer and he still had frozen mysis and brine shrimp. I told him he should give it to me, and he did! :grinyes:
He also gave me some selcon. The package was un-opened but he doesn't plan on doing any more fishkeeping fora few years and figured it would be too old by then.
So the question is can I use the selcon for my discus? It is a high fat liquid, you put some one your food when thawing it out. It says on the container "For Saltwater Use Only" but I though maybe the color enhancing properties would be good for discus too?
Any thoughts on if this is a good idea or not?
David
ps - I fed them some food with it last night, and everyone is still alive today
