Following the advice given by an AC member in an earlier post, I have started adding mgso4 in the form of Epsom Salt to my 29 gal tank. It seems to be helping. Started with 1/2 tsp 3x in the first week, but have no idea if this is an appropriate amount. Any suggestions? Thanks.

probably best just to add it to w/c water. i look for a specific gh. usually around 5 or 6 for me lower shouldn't be much of an issue.
i don't just use mgso4 though. i use barr's gh booster. seachem (i think it's) replenish will do the same thing.
