just like when people have males betas as center pieces on the table annoys me as they usually just flush them or they live the rest of there life in a jar.

I would have used bettas instead of feeders....it would have made for a nicer cake.

I disagree. Goldfish are much tastier than Bettas!

But in various oriental supermarkets, gourami are available canned and fried as food- and gourami are related to bettas! So you know they must be good

aren't they worried about the fish water getting in the cake. And do they really flush bettas? i wonder if any of the betta survive, they can after live in stagnate, polluted water better then most fish.
