View Full Version : time to come back
Hello, Thought it was time to drop back in. I've been out of it a bit mentally lately, tied up with family and work related issues. I don't think my contract is going to get renewed in May and my mother in law may be moving in sometime in the near future.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune , I noticed you not around lately . Sounds like a real bummer . Hope things work out better for you buddy . Try and think positive whenever possible. Keep in touch.
Thanks Mark,
day by day goes on and I'm sure things will work out. It's just when things hit all at once that really makes it difficult.
Welcome back. And good luck.

I know exactly what you're talking about.. I took a year off between 09-10, and it took that long to get my life in order. My pm box is open if you need to talk about anything at all.
Welcome back. :)

Bump for my buddy Joe.
Thanks for the kind words everyone. Have a Happy Easter.
Hello, I guess it's time to jump the "life's got me down ship". My wife & I went to her mothers this past weekend to talk to her about moving. You know, it's amazing that when you try to help someone that they try to make you feel bad for not giving more. She said "well I don't know if I should move because you won't accept my cats. (she's got 5 long haired cats, my daughter and I have allergies to long pet hair, so we're wrong for saying no to the cats). So we came to an agreement that we would pay 6 months of her lot rent and talk more about this issue, atleast she won't be evicted. I'm am still sending out Resumes, I've got 2 months before my contract is up and it doesn't seem like its going to get renewed. I'm a subcontractor and on this last renewal that I am on, the Plant hired me to work for myself (the company I was working for was going to close the doors and the Plant liked my work, the contracts were 1 yr at a time and there is no unemployment so I will be really bummin'. Well life does go on and hopefully something will come up. Guess I'll stop whinning now.
:welcome: back!
Sorry to hear of all the troubles. I hope everything works out okay!
