hello my nag me is jerrod and i have a 55 gallon freshwater tank. I just bought a geophagus jupari a week ago and i noticed one white spot on his side fin and just 3 on his tail. I have been treating the tank with rid ich. I can only treat with a half a dose because of my pleco. i have been treating it for 5 days and the white spots r still there but no more have shown up. My temp is at 78. I'm starting to wonder if its ich.
