Trimming leaves Questions

Almost all my plants have a few leaves that became bad looking since being in my tank. I think its from the transition. Ive noticed new growth comin in. Should I clip these ugly leaves? Will it promote new, better leaves? They arent dead just 'off' color.
 
Usually, removing the dying leaves help focus the plants energy to grow the healthy leaves. You have swords/java fern/ludwigia, right? I think you'd be fine trimming the bad leaves. Also, damaged java fern leaves usually produce a ton of baby plants...
