Fish question

i have an 2 1/2 inch cobalt blue cichlid he is opening his mouth and swimming against the glass and does it reapeatdly anyone know why

how new is he to the tank?? i had nearly all my fish do this when they were first added. Doesn't go on for more then a week.

yeah he is only been in the tank for about a week thanks

He sees his reflection and thinks it's another cichlid so he's trying to drive it out of his territory by attacking it.
