spray bar specifications

I am new to the hobby and have numerious questions to ask of those with more experiance.
I have a Marineland C-360 filter.
I want to fabricate a spray bar for my 75 gallon tank.
1. Do I need a spray bar for both the input and ouput of the filter?
2. What size holes do I make in the PVC pipe so that I will get an even flow along the entire lenght of pipe and not create a back pressure to the pump?
Looking foward to communicating with all the other freshwater tropical fish keepers on line.

Spray bar is only for the output of the canister filter.

Hole size and pipe size depends on the flow rate of your canister filter pump, not familiar with that filter but it is a safe bet that the total cross sectional area of all holes in the spray bar should be about equal to the cross sectional area of the canister output pipe.
