he got out last night and my room is a mess so i dount i will find him. How long can they last out of water or any specific places i should looks

theres a couple threads about crabs getting out and i think its only a day or 2:confused:
but check behind the tank or in the filter, hood lamp, ect
time to do some cleaning.... ;)
get a flashlight and start looking in dark areas around the tank. they usually hide under rocks and things in the wild.......... you might get lucky. :)

...or you might get sort of lucky and wake up in the middle of the night in the midst of his mighty claws of doom!!!

First, clean your room and look for him. They will only last as long as their gills(i think its gills) stay moist. Maybe try putting out a saucer of water and some food and see if he comes out. If its been more then a day i think he is probably dried out. Dont' jstu check around the tank, these buggers can travel a long way.
