My first saltwater tank.
29 gal. saltwater on self built wooden stand.
Stock:
2 Percula clownfish
1 Royal Gramma
1 Choc. chip starfish
2 Peppermint Shrimp
8 Blue leg hermit crabs
2 Turbo snails
parameters:
Temp = 80 F currently
Ph = 8.0 ppm
Nitrite = 0 ppm
Nitrate = 20 ppm
Ammonia = .25 ppm
Salinity = 1.025
Hardware:
1 Skilter 250 w/ media
1 Fluval 104 w/o media
1 small power head 130 gph. ( temporary)
Lighting :
single Flourecent bulb that came w/ hood. think 18watt.
I see a new 55/65 watt in the future.
Decor:
8 plastic plants , 1 black, 2 red, 4 them glo in dark thingies.
18 lbs. Live Rock , (slowly adding more, not cheap)
Substrate Coral life sand (?) 20lbs. (about 2in)
10 lbs. of play sand
set up is a two & a half months old after moving to new house. Tank used to house 4 Electric Yellows. All fish are doing great & devour any food that goes in.
Right now just feeding Marine flakes , Brine Srimp & blood worms.
not all at once but alternate.
Only nice critizism will be welcome.
