LT anenome pic, any idea?

Anenome been doing really well lately, clarkii is hosting it, but in the last few hours it has retracted and bubbled up in the center

Anemones do weird things, mine grows its stem part out, then appears to try and climb the wall... once i was looking at it and it just sucked in really really quick. My clown didn't like that. It will probably be fine, make sure you feed it. Oh yeah, mine has done that too... not for too long, but it did it (when snails bumped into it.)

Yah, i was just curious as to the bubbles in the center of it. My clown really didnt like it, Kept trying to get himself in there. The bubbling seems to have subsided in the center and the clown slept in there last night. Im just searching for information on em cause u can find a lot on eating habits etc, but nothing really on their behavior in captivity

I'm sorry i didn't notice the bubbles before, mine didn't bubble... it will inflate in different places to help prop himself up to where it wants to go... as long as the bubbles didn't stay there, i don't want to sound smart but it's probably fine. Like i said, mines always inflating and trying to get to places and hes still eating and looks real healthy, don't know what your bubbles are. sorry.

Well the bubbles on it have gone down. Never thought he would do that to move around. I noticed he took hold of a rock in my tank. I wish he would lay flat and open up like i see EVERYWHERE else :rolleyes:

what kind of lights do you have? when the lights are off in my tank, or like right in the morning when i turn them on it lays weird and gets use to the lights being on then by mid day its open and stays there till i turn the lights off, but if i'm in my room still with the tv on or a house light the anemone moves toward wherever the light is, it deff likes to try and go up the corner of the tank, but i doubt it can (to steep till first rock)

i have 210watt PC fixture 50/50 mix
Lights on about 10 hours a day or so. Sometimes 8.
I used to leave just the actinics on at night. 110 watts but have been tirning them all off recently for the night. My heater crapped out on me the other night and the tank dropped to about 75 degrees, i dont think he liked that too much either. Its back up to about 80 now. I did a trial of some LED red moonlights on the tank one night (still waiting on my bulbs i ordered offline) and the LT seemed to love them.
But ever since i have gotten him, he has never opened up fully

Looks to me like the anenome was expelling something from it's stomach. The only have one opening, so anything that can't be digested is expelled.
