And this time she didn't eat them...I first saw her letting them out last night.:nilly:

Now what do I do? The LFS gave me this frozen food called "Cyclop Eeze" and suggested feeding w/ a turkey baster.

Anything else I should be doing? Currently, I've done 25% water change yesterday, and plan on doing another small one today.

Yay! They are so cute! :perv: (but they don't show up in pics yet. I tried.)

Sorry for the delayed response...my internet was not allowing me to open aquariacentral all day yesterday!

Microworms, I'll look into that after work...another issue that I've noticed is that the male and female are fighting. I'm not sure if he is trying to mate again or what, but I think it is causing some stress to the mom.

Not sure if I should use a tank separater temporarily (I don't have another tank to move him or her to).

A divider would probably be a good option, at least until the female releases the fry for good and gains a little weight back.

2 updates:

1. I went ahead and put in a divider: mom seems a little more relaxed.
2. I couldn't find any fry this morning. I saw mom sifting the substrate for food, but no fry to be seen...I feel like this is bad, and she may have eaten them? Or they died? But nothing floating, or sitting on the bottom.

Will do a more thorough check tonight.

Hopefully they are still there but sometimes it can take a couple trys before they'll become good parents! Btw awesome that your gymnos have spawned twice already!

Thanks! I hope they're still alive; they are so cute and fragile. I am afraid even doing small, slow water changes that I will somehow injure them, or shock them! (this must be how new mothers feel about their infants!)
