I'm sure something like this exists, or does it? Has anyone seen one?

A meter that will read your nitrate, nitrite, ph, gh, kh, calcium, ammonia, etc. levels of your water with a probe. You don't leave it in there but you just insert it for a reading whenever you want.

ph and tds probes definatley exist and temp, i feel like a long time ago i saw a nitrate probe too but i might have made it up, i dont think theres ones for the rest though.

the only other way i can think of is crazy lab specto thingmajigs that could do it all.

I don't know, but it would be awesome and probably VERY expensive.

There are probes for each, but not one that does it all. They are expensive to begin with, the probes must be calibrated before use, and probes must be replaced regularly, and they are also expensive.

Do you know what an average acceptable TDS reading would be? I have looked all over the forums and can't find a thing about acceptable TDS levels.

I have a Hanna TDS meter and my tanks read about 250-275 during the week.

My city is 397 so I'd say yours is fine...is your water usually on the soft side?
