Wow indeed! So wow in fact I am ignoring all the alarm bells ringing "if this is such a good store why is the owner selling for $4k smackers?" and just indulging in wishful thinking. Starting with a wish for a wealthy benefactor who needs a money-losing business for a tax shelter. :)

I don't think it's a typo. According to another web site, the price has been dropped a few times. I guess the owner wants to stop the bleeding. Remember that the space is lease so who knows what contractural obligations are attached.

I know this store and have been inside. This isn't the first time I've seen it advertised. First ad I saw on Craigslist was asking $50,000. Reason for sale was "I've grown impatient with the store" At that time the store was barely open for 3 months. I figure the store's worth whatever used fish tanks are worth, and probably not much more.

The shelves in the place look empty! Granted, if I had a business up for sale I would not be keepig my sheves packed but other then that 1 display I see a lot of nothing. The tanks are the ony thing I see worth anything and those dont look that great. Seems to me like it's priced about right.

well go and have a look and make sure that you have seen what you are buying,
for all you could know is that it could have the backwall missing or the roof is unstable.
what i am saying is; make sure you see what you are buying, even at a cheap price.
