Please excuse the small size of the pics...im still learning all this digital photo stuff!! Anyways, heres 2 before and after pics of my 55 Mbuna tank.
Before- This one was a while back before i added plants or anything...with a blue back ground and rainbow rock and 2-15 watt GE AquaRays.

After- This pic is after i took out my Java fern and moss...the mbuna pretty much destroyed it and all it was doing was clogging my filter up so i just decided against it. The anarchis is doing fairly well though, it seems to withstand any attacks they give it and its been growing very well. The plant in the left background was the original one and now just 2 months later its given me all the other ones in the tank. This is also after i finished my canopy and light upgrade(2-40 watt bulbs...1 GE AquaRay 1 Daylight deluxe) I really wanted to do plants in this tank because i see all the other malawi tanks and for the most part all anyone puts in is rock. I think the plants give a great enviroment and livens up the tank a little bit. I might try some Hornwort in there as soon as my LFS gets some in stock. I added a DIY CO2 system and its really made the plants take off! I was really surprized how quickly it makes the anarchis grow...im getting about 1/2 to an inch per day on every plant. I also put a rubber pleco in there to help keep algae down a bit. Hes doing a great job at it and they(mbuna) seem to pay no attention to him. Anyways, just wanted to share with you guys!
