I started this tank back in July of '09 and i'll do a brief review of the tanks progress.

should be getting my purple hornet from NCRA this friday, as well as a zoa I won at auction. :happy:
Then i should be getting some more acans and zoas from someone here on NR. That should be it though for a while, at least until everything grows out so I have something to trade :).

Wow. I didn't know you could do coral in tall aquariums like that. I have a 30 gallon just like it.

Foxface was sold saturday, those were some parting shots. there are only a maroon and damsel left, which will soon be out.
yes I have a MH over the tank jellymolly, that allows me to keep a lot of different coral in the tank. Theres not much in here cause I am on a tight budget. its maybe 200-300 worth of coral but it needs to grow in. is the tank in your avatar a hex too?

You can do reefs in tall aquariums like that, but you have to have a stable liverock that you can stand tall like that. Otherwise your rocks will fall over and you wont be able to see any sand. As long as light is powerful enough, it can power through the water levels. Also, you have to be willing to reach deeper in the tank to do landscaping. Bought a pair of aqua gloves this weekend for when I need lol.
