If amano shrimplets do not hatch in freshwater, how does the momma shrimp get rid of them? or do they hatch and just not survive? I'm curious. TIA linda

i believe they release them as larva which need the bw to grow. she holds onto them until they hatch.
The larvae need brackish to develop into shrimp...
Or so they say. I have read that there have been reports of them successfully reproducing in 100% freshwater, but dont personally know of anyone that has doen it.
