I'm torn, to say the least lol. Now that I've kept both in my 8 years of experience as an aquarist, I want to dedicate my new 55 gallon aquarium to a beautiful display, but I cannot decide, so I need your votes. Here are my two ideas:
55 Gallon Community tank:
12 Cardinal tetras
8 Rummy nose tetras
8 Glowlight Tetras
8 Black Neons
10 Zebra danios
8 Unpainted glassfish
1 male, 3 female Apistogramma vieja (or 3 Discus)
4 Corydoras sp.
6 various fancy plecos (zebra, mango, etc)
Various FW shrimps and snails (nothing that reprodces fast tho)
Maybe a few more tetras or other small fish...All in a heavily planted tank with driftwood, etc.
55 gallon showcase:
2 Green Terrors
In a tank with lots of smooth slate for contrast and driftwood.
Dont throw out the 2 GT's though; they're just as good as any FW community lol. I'm just curious as to what would impress everyone more.
