Hi,

Got my first batch of RCS last Friday (Got 6). Everything seemed to be going ok (I've counted 4 skins already which to me signifies that the shrimp are settling in ok?) until today as 1 seems to have gone missing completely. I've looked thoroughly round what is essentially a very small Fluval 23l tank and can now only count 5.

Tank mates are ember tetras, pygmy cories and spotted blue eyes.

For some reason I'm becoming suspicious of the blue eyes but for the life of me cant understand how they could be big enough to cause a young adult RCS any harm.

Ideas? I actually went in and turned stuff and generally caused more of a stir in the tank than I probably should have. Should I just put it down to life in the tank and think no more about it?

Don't believe it - people told me shrimp were good at hiding but I didn't understand until now.

I've just counted 6! :grinyes:

I dont understand how I could have missed any of them but I'm quite pleased now.

Panic over. That is all. :newbie:
