My lone female angel just laid eggs on the heater.

Should I clean off her eggs from the heater?
She pecks at them once in awhile. And I don't see how leaving them there to fungus would be any good, especially if she's eating them.

She laid eggs previously, but it was on the intake tube of a filter, and hadn't noticed until I did maintenance on the filter and found them and washed them off. That had confirmed my suspicion that it was a girl!

they usually just eat them and removing them could prove more disruptive.

Well, I removed the heater and cleaned them off. I was concerned about her eating rotting eggs. She had almost half of the heater covered with them.
She doesn't seem to mind at all. Doing her usual dance for me to feed her.

Thanks so much for the reply. The next time she does this I won't worry too much about leaving them.

Star_Rider,
I just re-read your post and am now wondering how would it be more disruptive if they are removed? I don't want to do anything that may make her "ill" in any way.
Could you please give me more info about this? Thanks.
