I have 3 zebra nerites. I moved one to a new tank about a week and a half ago.
The tank was about 2 weeks old, started with an established sponge from another tank. Has live plants.
Starting 2 days ago, he keeps dropping to the bottom, upside down. I've righted him and he'll move around that area, about 6 inches (up the glass usually) and then I find him 'belly up' again. I placed a piece of algae wafer near him....seems gone but others may have helped. And there is algae building on the tank glass.
I took him from one tank where he was fairly active to one he seems to not like as much. Tank parameters read the same on tests, pretty much.
Any ideas?
